One night in Bangkok raises $16K for TCC

Organizers of the "One Night in Bangkok" fundraising party present a check for $16,148 to representatives of the Turtle Creek Chorale. Promoter Dannee Phann and event coordinator Howard Okon presented the annual party on May 3 at the Brick. At the time preparations were made for the check presentation, the amount was $15,648, but by the time the presentation was made at a TCC rehearsal on May 13, the amount had increased. There were 88 hosts for the event and corporate sponsors included The Club on Swiss Avenue, Mickey’s Dallas, Skivvie’s, Outlines and Tapelenders. Media sponsors included Boys 4 Toys, Fierce Party, Gay Weekly and Oaklawn.TV.
