My resignation was given to the TCC Board of Directors mid-April with more than 90 days notice in order that a solid replacement could be found as the new Executive Director. I solely left my position due to a wonderful professional opportunity offered by Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. I plan on continuing to be a patron and major donor of TCC. My leaving TCC is no reflection in anyway on the organization. I simply had a truly wonderful opportunity to work in the financial services sector supporting the LGBT, non-profit and foundation community in Dallas.

The board of the TCC has never been one that deals with “truth” in a way that one could call literal. And having a reverend at the helm as the board chair, telling what are very obviously half truths and full-on lies only serves to kill not only my almost non-existent faith in the clergy but also whatever good memories I had of the TCC.

I dont know what happened with the “resignations” of the leadership but I am sure that its not what is being handed to the public. You can smell the lies all the way out on the west coast.

It doesn’t seem that financial stability of the group is the concern, although that is what the board chair seems to be stressing. When both key staff are resigning, it begs one to wonder about the stability of the leadership of the organization. The TCC is a great asset to the community. Hopefully the new leaders will be able to continue the good work of those that have come before them.
