When I voted this morning, I noticed that the only item on the back of the two-sided ballot was Dallas County’s proposal to take out $747 million in bonds to help fund a new 862-bed Parkland Hospital. I’m sure the bond measure will pass anyway (because everyone loves Parkland, right?), but I wonder how many people didn’t realize that the ballot continued on the back. I’ll be interested to see whether the voting numbers are disproportionately low for that item.
