This reminds me of 2008. The clear, pro-life, evangelical choice was Mike Huckabee. Evangelical leaders split between Mitt Romnney and Rudy Giulianni, and John McCain was nominated as a result, and Barack Obama was elected. the only good thing we got out of it was Sarah Palin.

When Rick Perry announced his candidacy, ALL the conservative leaders were excited. He had one or two "oops" moments, and all of these leaders turned their backs on him. Let me remind these men, that Rick is the ONLY evangelical that is running. He is the ONLY candidate that called a day of prayer in August, which many of these men attended and prayed together, repenting of our sins as a nation.

Rick Perry is the ONLY one with the executive level experience to qualify for the job. He is the ONLY one that has actually done something to help save the lives of the unborn. Today, in Texas, because of Rick, a young girl's parents need to be notified. Because of Rick, the babie's mother has an opportunity to see the baby in her womb through ultrasound before getting an abortion. Because of Rick, planned parenthood has been defunded and abortuaries have been closed. Children are alive and will have a chance to grow up and contribute to society because of Rick Perry. The other candidates have just talked.

Rick Perry, as everyone knows by know, has presided over the creation of 1 million jobs, while the nation has lost 2 million. Unlike Newt Gingrich he has never cheated on his wife, to whom he has been married to over 30 years. Unlike Newt, he has never been asked to step down because of misconduct.

Unlike Rick Santorum, he has never voted for an increase of the deficit. In fact, he has presided over actual cuts in spending, not just reductions in the amount of increase.

He has actual military experience, as does Ron Paul, and also IS been the commander in chief of over 20,000 troops here in Texas.

He is, by all objective standards, the most qualified man for the job. I urge the men, and all reading this message to reconsider Rick Perry. Take a second look. Go to http://www.Rickperry.org, and actively support him. I'm Peter Shepherd and I approve of this message.
