Shoeshine is a gentle guy with a laidback demeanor and sweet-natured personality. He is a 2-year-old yellow Lab-shepherd mix. He’s calm, quiet and good with other dogs. Shoeshine has been looking for a home since the end of March and is more than ready to find a happy home.
Phantom is beautiful girl with a shiny black coat and gold-green eyes. She’s 2 years old, loves to cuddle, is friendly and gentle and seems to be good with other cats. She also has been at the shelter since the end of March and is eager for a forever home.
Shoeshine, Phantom and many other dogs, cats, puppies and kittens are available for adoption from the Dallas Animal Services Adoption Center, 1818 N. Westmoreland at I-30 on the northeast corner. The shelter is open 7 days a week: Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and Sunday from 1 to 3:30 p.m. The cost to adopt is $85 for dogs and $55 for cats and includes spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip and more.
