Poll respondents fired up about smoking ban

It’s sometimes surprising to see which weekly poll questions get the most responses on Dallas Voice’s Web site. This week’s question — “Should there be a ban on smoking inside bars and nighclubs?” — must be approaching a record, with 550 responses recorded by this morning. (We typically get about 200-300 responses.) Thus far, 63 percent of respondents oppose the proposed smoking ban, which I wrote about last week, while 37 percent favor it.
