It’s generally agreed upon that LGBT people are charged more often than heterosexuals with public lewdness. Do you think this is because of prejudice against the community?

“If you’re having sex outdoors, what’s the big deal? It shouldn’t be wrong for
anyone.”

Marshal Herron
Waiter

“I think it’s wrong whether you’re gay or straight. Use your common sense.”

Tim Smith
Forklift driver

“We have other places to go, but I do think it’s a bias.”

Robert Rangal
Downtown employee

“I think it has a lot to do with the community, but … that kind of degrades us.”

Chris Brown
Personal banker

“I think that’s what happens when you do it outside.”

Bo Bowen
Driver
