The Omar Narvaez campaign is warning of voter fraud in the runoff election for District 6, 7 and 8 Dallas City Council seats. Narvaez is challenging incumbent Monica Alonzo for the District 6 seat.
Narvaez charges that after setting the machine to the correct precinct, poll workers are standing over voters rather than moving away as they are required to do by law. His campaign urges anyone who experiences this type of voter intimidation to report it to the election office.
He also reminds voters never to give an absentee ballot to someone they don’t know.
Early voting runs this week through Saturday, June 3, from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Sunday 1-6 p.m. and Monday and Tuesday from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. During early voting, vote at any early voting location. In Oak Lawn, Reverchon Recreation Center, 3505 Maple Ave. is open. Election Day is June 10. On Election Day, vote only in your precinct. Go here to find your precinct and other voter information.
The Narvaez campaign put out this video on Facebook to warn voters about fraud and intimidation.
