This reading is part of a monthly series that will span five years. The goal is to read each of Shakespeare’s plays and sonnets.

Tonight’s reading is Othello, the Moorish general, his wife Desdemona, his lieutenant Cassio and his trusted Iago. One of the bard’s most popular plays, its themes revolve around love and betrayal, jealousy and racism.
