Chris, you’re a closeted Republican idiot. Let’s argue your points. Obama has pulled almost all troops from Iraq (Bush’s war) and has a plan to withdraw gradually from Afghanistan. Republicans in Congress have kept him from closing down Guantanamo. He isn’t in the pockets of lobbyists and PAC’s the way so many Republicans are, especially after Citizens United (it’s a Supreme Court case, look it up). And the economy is worse than it was in Bush’s last year? REALLY? Whose policies got us into this mess to begin with? Have you even read the Texas Republican Party’s platform plank on “homosexuality”? Or compared it to the Democratic Party’s position? If you can make an intelligent argument about these issues, well, I’m waiting. But I won’t hold my breath.

Your whole argument of irrelevant cherry picking, then adding a few baseless and again irrelevant opinions on the economy and then suggesting he’s therefore dishonorable is equally silly.

Nah, I’ll pass on arguing Gitmo, the economy, unemployment, PAC contributions, wars, etc on a post regarding marriage equality. Argue that chicken with someone else.

You should have just said, “Hey, never mind the marriage equality topic, but Obama sucks and Republicans , well, not so much,”

LOL. if you believe those statements I made are all incorrect, please do some research for yourself. PLEASE. I wouldn’t say it if it wasn’t true. As far as LGBT rights (which are important, but considering the current crisis we’re in, should take a back seat)
I’m more in favor of a Constitutionalist point of view that there is a seperation of Church and State. There is one Republican candidate that offers that viewpoint.

Implying the Republican and Democratic party’s stance on LGBT rights is similar or as you put it “any better” is ridiculous.

I don’t know that Democrats are any better. Especially considering Obama hasn’t pulled troops out of the middle east like he promised (and now we’re in another war), he didn’t shut down Guantanamo bay like he promised, he’s taking millions of dollars as campaign contributions from PACs and Lobbyist. He’s sunk the economy even lower than where it was when Bush was in office. Unemployment is up, and there’s no end of the financial crisis in sight with him wanting to raise the debt ceiling without sufficient spending cuts. Now, he’s not an ally to LGBT folks either. He’s just neutral. Doesn’t sound like someone who is very honorable to me.
