Dog-in-grass

Dog parks are kind of like gay bars on Bear Night: A lot of hairy creatures gathered in one place, sniffing crotches and slobbering all over each other but really just out to have fun. The dog park adjacent to White Rock Lake — with its access to the lake itself, so pups can frolic in the water, but also enough tennis balls and trees to keep them otherwise occupied — is as communal an experience as you can get. With the weather beautiful out, our canine companions enjoy fun in the sun as much as their human counterparts, and this is the place to be to share the benefits of Texas life with animals that are more than pets — they are family.
