Human Rights Campaign’s “Supporting Businesses That Support Us” campaign has gone high tech with an iPhone app. It’s called Buying for Equality and can be downloaded free at HRC.org/iPhone.
HRC notes that both iPhone maker Apple and service provider AT&T both score 100% on the 2010 Corporate Equality Index.
The easy to read format divides businesses and their consumer products into red (brands to avoid), yellow (brands that have made some progress) and green (brands to support).
