LISTEN: Solomon covers Robyn’s “Dancing On My Own” and offers as free download

Openly gay singer Solomon released what he described on his website as “By far my favorite song of 2010. That summer for me was fantastic and “Dancing On My Own” was definitely the soundtrack to that very memorable summer. It even inspired me to write “Dancing All Alone,” which I incorporated in this cover song.” He is offering the song as a free download on the site. Solomon’s last outing was the 2011 EP release The Love Rocker Project which garnered him play video play on Logo for the song “Wit Us U Can’t…”

Without straying from the original beat, Solomon added his rapping skills to the track along with his breathy vocals and churned out a respectable cover. And he even managed to work his own flair into the track.
