Sulu, beaming — and not the "Star Trek" kind of beaming, either

George Takei, the openly gay actor best known for playing Hikaru Sulu on the original “Star Trek” and six films, wed his longtime partner, Brad Altman, over the weekend. Walter Koenig and Nichelle Nichols — Ens. Chekov and Lt. Uhura, respectively — served as best man and best lady. Takei, 71, and Altman, 54, were the  first couple to receive a marriage license in West Hollywood on June 17.
