Snow is one of the happiest, friendliest dogs you’ll ever meet. She’s 10 months old and full grown at 46 pounds. Snow loves people and should do fine with other dogs. With her sunny personality and great demeanor, Snow will make a faithful canine companion.

The shelter is open Monday-Saturday 11 a.m.-6:30 p.m. and Sundays noon-5 p.m. The regular adoption cost is $85 for dogs and $55 for cats, but discounts are offered for older animals and those in the shelter longer than 45 days and to senior citizens and those who adopt two animals at the same time. Oscar is an adorable 6-month-old purebred miniature poodle currently at Operation Kindness and looking for a family to call his own. He has a beautiful, shiny, apricot coat that he wears with pride. He enjoys sitting in your lap, and he loves to cuddle. He will steal your heart and make a great pet for any family. He has been neutered and is current on all his shots and is ready for adoption.

Happy is an aptly named love bug. She’s a 7-month-old terrier-beagle mix who currently weighs about 28 pounds but, like many of us this time of the year, could stand to lose a few. She’s eager to please, full of energy and loving.  Happy is a friendly girl who’s hoping for a forever home for the New Year.

Boo

Boo and the rest of her siblings were rescued off the country road. They are all very happy, playful puppies. Boo is a 2-month-old border collie mix that weighs 10 pounds today, but may grow as big as 30 to 40 pounds as an adult dog. Boo and her siblings are looking forward to growing up with you!

Alice is a full-grown Australian cattle dog mix. She is about two years old and weighs almost 40 pounds. Alice has a lot of energy so she will require plenty of walks and activity to tire her out. She loves to play with her toys and can keep herself busy with those for hours. She gets along with other dogs but we recommend a dog intro because she does like to be the boss at times. Alice is very alert and curious and would make a great pet for the right family. If you’re interested stop by and meet our Alice.
