WATCH: Bystanders lift vehicle, pull motorcyclist from beneath it after fiery wreck in Logan, Utah


I have no reason for posting this here other than it happened in a city where I once worked at the daily newspaper — Logan, Utah — and the victim is apparently the nephew of one of my former colleagues. Also, it’s a pretty amazing rescue. According to my old paper, The Herald Journal, the motorcyclist remains in intensive care but is expected to recover. Watch the rescue below.

Things Beneath Our Notice

KAMPALA, Uganda — The front-page newspaper story featured a list of Uganda's 100 “top” homosexuals, with a bright yellow banner across it that read: “Hang Them.” Alongside their photos were the men's names and addresses.

 This story began this past Tuesday but got very little play here in the States. That is a shame, as this is the dry run for the LGBT “Final Solution'

Failing to get their infamous law through partly due to the US evangelicals behind the law being exposed publically, the Ugandan Right is now doing what works so well in America; fire people up to do the job for you

Then there is this new study from an associate of Paul Cameron's, though he is careful to posit hinself as a Kansas State researcher. He didn't actually do any surveying or intrviewing himself, he interpreted other people's works. His conclusion?

Gay parents cause gay kids

As if expecting a political backlash himself, Schumm concludes his study with a quote from philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer. “All truth passes through three stages: First it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.”

 Does anyone else smell another round of anti-gay laws following in the wake of the election?
