UPDATE: LGBT groups respond to FDA lifting lifetime ban on blood donations
The Food and Drug Administration announced today (Tuesday, Dec. 23) that it will lift the lifetime ban on blood donations by men who have sex with men. The FDA however stayed the rule requiring men not have sex with other men for 12 months.
