GIVEAWAY: Tickets to WineFest on Saturday

Don’t have tickets to Black Tie? Fear not! You can still get your share of tasty bites and alcohol — and it won’t cost you a dime.

The 500 Inc.’s 10th annual WineFest arrives at the Addison Conference Centre on Saturday, a fundraiser for the arts and culture in Dallas (that’s practically the same as gay organizations!). It features food from such restaurants as Sambuca, Seasons 52, Clay Pit and La Madeleine, as well as a host of wines and brews. Tickets cost as much as 50 bucks each, but you can get two for FREE. Just email lifestyle@dallasvoice.com by 1 p.m. Friday with the subject line “WineFest.” Include you name, phone and email, and we’ll pick the winner of two tickets to the event, which takes place Saturday, Nov. 3, from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Good luck!

WIN! Tickets to gay movies tonight at Asian Film Fest

The Asian Film Festival of Dallas is underway, and tonight is unofficially “gay night” for it. And you might be able to come for free.

The evening starts off with Yes or No, a Thai lesbian film, at 7:30 p.m., followed by gay director H.P. Mendoza’s thriller I Am a Ghost at 9:45 p.m. (both at the Magnolia). In between, there’s even a reception at Malai Kitchen in the West Village, starting at 8:30 p.m.

Wanna see Yes or No or I Am a Ghost? The Asian Film Festival is giving away two pairs of tickets — one to Yes and one to Ghost. Simply email us your name at lifestyle@dallasvoice.com by 3 p.m., and say which film you wanna see. We’ll let you know by 3:15 if you won and put the winners’ name on a list at the door. Enjoy!

GIVEAWAY: Tickets to Pam Tillis and Lorrie Morgan at the Eisemann this Saturday

It’s a double header on Saturday when country music titans Pam Tillis and Lorrie Morgan come to town — in one show. That’s pretty major and the folks at the Eisemann were kind enough to offer us three pairs of tickets to giveaway to some of you die hard country fans. The Grits and Glamour Tour comes to North Texas and you just might get to go.

What do you have to do? Not too much. Just answer this trivia question which should be pretty easy. What’s the No. 1 hit Morgan sang that Tillis also recorded?

Got it? Good. Now just email me here with your answer and full name and “Gimme some grits” in the subject line. I’ll randomly pick three winners (with the right answer) tomorrow at 3 p.m. Winners will then receive deets on how to get their tickets.

Good luck!
