Oklahoma bill would ban local nondiscrimination policies protecting LGBT people
Last week, Oklahoma state Rep. Mike Reynolds failed to reinstate “don’t ask, don’t tell” in that state — mostly because it’s national guard would have lost $300 million in federal funding. So after that defeat, Reynolds introduced new legislation this week that would eliminate nondiscrimination policies for municipal employees that include classes not protected by the state.
