Gay Saudi Prince Saud Abdulaziz bin Nasser al Saud Must Pay Britain $100K For The Privilege Of Being Prosecuted

I doubt this part will make the inevitable movie script, but Saud Abdulaziz bin Nasser al Saud — the Saudi prince (pictured at left) convicted and headed into a life sentence for killing his servant and sometime-lover Bandar Abdulaziz in London — must pay the 1,000+ prosecutor's bill, plus his own attorneys' fees. Given the exorbitant sums the prince spent on whim (plus the ,000 Cartier diamond-studded watch found in his hotel safe), he could probably pawn his gold toenail polish and still have money left over for an appeal

Gay Saudi Diplomat Ali Ahmad Asseri Pleas With U.S. To Keep Him From Forced Return Home

The diplomat Ali Ahmad Asseri,, who serves as Saudi Arabia's first secretary of their Los Angeles consulate, says he'll be executed "openly in broad daylight" if he's forced to go back to his homeland in a plea for the U.S. to grant him amnesty. Now, does Asseri — whose diplomatic passport won't be renewed by the Saudis, thus forcing him to leave the U.S. — fear for his life because he's gay, because he's friend with a Jewish woman, or because he's been posting on the Internet about "militant imams" and how he's threatening to release, according to NBC News, "what he describes as politically embarrassing information about members of the Saudi royal family living in luxury in the U.S"? Because I can't imagine they're too thrilled about that either.

Saudi diplomat seeks political asylum from Obama administration for being gay and having a Jewish friend

Sounds like a two-fer. The gays and the Jews are involved. The Saudis want the man back, probably so they can hang him or cut off certain body parts. It will be interesting to see if the administration sides with the homophobes and the anti-Semites. From MSNBC:

The diplomat, Ali Ahmad Asseri, the first secretary of the Saudi consulate in Los Angeles, has informed U.S. Department of Homeland Security officials that Saudi officials have refused to renew his diplomatic passport and effectively terminated his job after discovering he was gay and was close friends with a Jewish woman.
