DAISY

Pet.Daisy

Daisy

Daisy is a great dog! She appears to be a Plott hound. She has a great loud voice when she talks to you. Daisy is about 11 months old and should not get much larger than she is now. She will definitely need a big yard so she has room to run and play; however, the fence needs to be wood and about 6 feet high. Like any good coonhound, Daisy can climb chain link fencing.

Daisy and many other great dogs and cats are available for adoption from Operation Kindness, situated at 3201 Earhart Drive, one street south of Keller Springs and two blocks west of Midway Road, in Carrollton. The no-kill shelter is open six days a week: Monday, 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.; closed Tuesday; Wednesday, 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Thursday, noon to 8 p.m.; Friday, noon to 5 p.m.; Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday, noon to 5 p.m. The cost is $110 for cats, $135 for kittens, $150 for dogs over 1 year, and $175 for puppies. Godzilla is a staff and volunteer favorite because of his huge personality. He loves to play with toys and even responds to his name. He is infamous for sneaking out of the adult cat room so that he can be in the lobby where all the action is. If you are looking for a truly social cat that will make you smile, Godzilla is the one for you!

Jessica (and Jeffrey)

PetJessica, pictured, and Jeffrey are brother and sister and are about 8 months old. Although they look like lambs, they’re probably Shepherd mixes. They came from a neglected litter in a backyard in West Dallas. Apparently, these were the last two that were not stolen by neighbors. The owner was tired of Jeffrey and Jessica and decided to turn them out on the street on Christmas Eve. These adorable two are learning to walk on leash, but incredibly friendly with anyone who want to pet their furry heads. Jeffrey and Jessica can’t wait to run and play with their new family and friends.

AlicePet-Alice

Alice is a full-grown Australian cattle dog mix. She is about two years old and weighs almost 40 pounds. Alice has a lot of energy so she will require plenty of walks and activity to tire her out. She loves to play with her toys and can keep herself busy with those for hours. She gets along with other dogs but we recommend a dog intro because she does like to be the boss at times. Alice is very alert and curious and would make a great pet for the right family. If you’re interested stop by and meet our Alice.

Pet-RangerRANGER
My name is Ranger and my brother’s name is Zorro. We have had a strong bond with one
another ever since we were rescued from awful conditions by an Operation Kindness
Volunteer. We are about 5 years old and fully grown. Our first family could not take care of us because they needed to go to a nursing home. Please consider taking me and my brother home together, since we have never been separated and we love each other very much.
