The company just performed its latest production, Prokofiev’s Cinderella, last weekend in Richardson, and will reprise it next week in Fort Worth, but the upcoming season of the Texas Ballet Theater will continue to share performances with Dallas audiences.
The season kicks off with Carmen & Danse a Grande Vitesse, accompanied by live music from the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, starting at the Winspear (Sept. 16–18) and moving to Bass Hall (Oct. 7–9). Next up is the annual treat The Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky (Winspear Nove. 24–27, Dec. 2–4; Bass Hall, Dec. 9–24), plus the fun twist on it, The Nutty Nutcracker (Bass Hall only, Dec. 16). It’s Fort Worth only with Rooster & Smith & Scher (March 3–5), and back to Dallas for the season finale, Alice in Wonderland (Bass Hall, May 19–21, Winspear, June 2–4). Season tickets are available at TexasBalletTheater.org.
