Show me a group in Dallas County that’s more dedicated than Stonewall Democrats, and I’ll show you something that doesn’t exist. Above was the scene at about 6:45 this morning at the corner of Oak Lawn and Cedar Springs, where a handful of volunteers from Stonewall gathered to wave signs encouraging early-bird commuters to vote. The volunteers had met at 5:30 a.m. for breakfast at Cafe Brazil. Below, apparently the gays don’t like to travel all the way to Grauwyler to vote early, because there was quite a line outside the Oak Lawn library branch just before the polls opened at 7 a.m.
