This was just moments ago at the Oak Lawn library branch, one of the polling stations for today’s primary.
While there was a steady stream of people getting in the Democrat line, the Republican line was empty. This is not too surprising given that it’s a liberal neighborhood, but it also probably has something to do with all the interest in Clinton-Obama and the lack of a contest on the Republican side.
Even the Democrat line was surprisingly short, though, given all the talk about record turnouts. I guess most people voted early so they could stay home and rest up for the caucuses tonight.
