Portions of the south end of the Dallas North Tollway will be closed on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 20-21, so that construction crews can switch traffic onto new portions of the roadway, according to officials with the North Texas Tollway Authority.
Only one lane will be open from Wycliff Avenue to Harry Hines Boulevard/McKinnon Street, from 10 p.m. on Saturday to 2 p.m. on Sunday, on the southbound side of the tollway.
On Sunday, the northbound entrance ramp from Interstate 35E to the tollway will be closed from midnight to 6 a.m., and the tollway entrances from Harry Hines Boulevard and McKinnon Street will also be closed temporarily.
Only one northbound lane will be open on the tollway from Harry Hines to McKinnon to the Wycliff Avenue Main Lane Toll Plaza from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Motorists traveling north will be able to enter the Tollway via the Wycliff Avenue Main Lane Toll Plaza. The southbound tollway exit ramp to Interstate 35E will not be affected.
