The Dallas Morning News is running a series about toxic chemicals in your back yard. They say they found “dozens of sites with hazardous chemicals that are close to residential neighborhoods.” They also show some scary video from last summer’s chemical plant explosion downtown. But some good news for gays. I just checked on the Environmental Protection Agency’s website, and they provide the map above. As you can see, not many dangerous chemicals in the Oak Lawn area. Just a few gas stations, dry cleaners and a printing company with some drums of ink laying around.
