Memory Lane

A fundraiser in tribute to Lee Rodger, also known as Memory Lane, will be held at 7 p.m. on Feb. 27 at the Hidden Door, 5025 Bowser Ave. Proceeds will benefit Legacy Founders Cottage.

Rodger died in November 2015. He was an active member of the LGBT community raising money for non-profit charitable organizations across Texas and the U.S. He was involved in the Imperial Court System, International Gay Rodeo, Texas Gay Rodeo and much more. He held the titles of Empress of Imperial Court de San Diego, Mr. IGRA 1st Runner Up, Mr. TGRA, Mr. Yellow Rose and Miss Firecracker. At the time of his death, he was the reigning Queen of the Rodeo.

His friends and King and Queen of the Rodeo productions will hosti this fundraiser that will feature entertainers, auction items and much more to raise funds for one of his favorite charity organizations.

Heather Thomas and Trisha Davis will emcee the evening. Many special guests and appearances from several organizations in Dallas and Fort Worth are expected.
