Tucson installs rainbow crosswalks

Tucson has rainbow crosswalks at an intersection described by ABC affiliate KGUN9 as one of the busiest in the city.

But while LGBT-owned businesses may be in the area, the neighborhood is simply described as diverse.

The crosswalks were painted with paint that is expected to last three years.

Houston and San Antonio installed rainbow sidewalks this year.

If Dallas would like to make a statement with its rainbow sidewalks, how about NOT putting them at The Crossroads (Throckmorton at Cedar Springs). How about this: Move them a few blocks away to Hall at Welborn, a block from Cedar Springs Road and a block from Oak Lawn Avenue.

Why Hall at Welborn? Sen. Ted Cruz’s Dallas senatorial office is in that building.
