Since leaving the Dallas Morning News in 2006, TV critic Ed Bark has become even more popular and influential with his UnkleBarky.com blog, where he opines about the current state of television and media in general, breaking stories faster than he ever did at the DMN. And one of his great innovations is “The Uncle Barky Show,” basically a meet-and-greet with media celebs.
The next “episode” (as he likes to call them) will be on Feb. 23 at 4 p.m. His guests will be “Good Day” Dallas hosts Tim Ryan (whom I worked with when I was reviewing movies for Channel 4) and Megan Henderson. Best of all, the event will be held at a Dallas Voice fave, Stratos Global Greek Taverna on Northwest Highway. It’s free, and you can feast on good food and rub elbows with local media.
