WATCH: The totally uncut Israel Luna goes behind the scenes at Dallas Voice with his iPad 2

DVtv segment producer Israel Luna has an iPad 2, and he isn’t afraid to whip it out. As a matter of fact, Luna was so anxious to show off his gadget that he came by DV offices last week and started putting it in people’s faces. And who could blame him; it’s a pretty nice one.

As Luna demonstrates above, the iPad 2 allows you to shoot, edit and upload HD video on the spot. After a test run here at the Brewery, we gave the iPad 2 a real-world trial at the kickoff for the GLBT Press Tour. I don’t know why, but in the press tour video I decided to look at the Apple logo on the back of the iPad instead of into the camera lens. I guess our publisher just needs to buy me one so I can practice.
