A day after the U.S. Supreme Court lifted an injunction stopping implementation of Donald Trump’s ban on transgender men and women serving in the military, U.S. Rep. Deb Haaland, D-N.M., has posted a trans Pride flag next to the New Mexico state flag outside her congressional office.

Rep. Haaland, who with U.S. Rep. Sharice Davids of Kansas last November became the first Native American women elected to Congress, posted the above photo on Facebook with the caption, “The trans flag is displayed proudly outside my office door. #ProtectTransTroops.”

U.S. Rep. Jennifer Wexton, D-Va., became the first member of Congress to display the trans Pride flag when she posted the flag next to the Virginia state flag outside her office when she was inaugurated on Jan. 4. Noting that she is the aunt of a trans child, Wexton said at the time, “I want everyone in the trans community to know that they are welcome and loved even in the face of this administration and its attacks on who they are.”
