Todd Camp and Chuck Potter, who were eyewitnesses to the police raid and Saturday’s events at the Rainbow Lounge in Fort Worth will be speaking and taking your questions Tuesday, June 30, 8pm for Dallas Voice Free Speech Night at Buzz Brews on Lemmon Ave.
I will definitley be there. The incident that happened at the Rainbow Lounge is a complete outrage and I can’t wait to hear the first hand account of the drama that took place. Freedom of speech an important part of our democratic rights and I give my praises to BuzzBrews for hosting this informative event. Plus it doesn’t hurt that I can have a beer now and the food and atmosphere is excellent.
Really hope there’s big turnout for the discussion. Will wait to read a report and see pics, maybe even a vid, of the event.
I received an email from the spokesperson for the Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission today about the raid on the gay bar in Fort Worth over the weekend and TABC doesn’t have much to say. And why are Gay Inc groups silent about the raid and injured gay man?:

I have read in the Fort Worth Star Telegram that there is another protest scheduled for 7pm, July 5th at the Ft Worth Convention Center, is this true?
I called Joel Burns’ office (my councilman, District 9) and his staff could not provide any detail. She politely put me on hold and asked Kathleen Hicks (District 8) staff who also were unaware of any details. They apparently were called by the Fort Worth Convention Center who asked if they had details as they had not been contacted to schedule the event for permit. Does anyone have information on whether this is accurate? Who or what group may be organizing? My wife and I want to participate.
