Most people who know Erin Moore think of her as the former president of Stonewall Democrats of Dallas. She also served as an officer of Texas Stonewall Democrats and as National Stonewall Democrats Leadership Council co-chair.
She currently works as executive assistant to Dallas county Commissioner Teresa Daniel.
But at Dallas Voice, we like to think of her as former co-worker Erin Moore. Before moving to county government, Moore worked as a designer in our art department.
Moore, who is married to Dallas Gay and Lesbian Alliance President and Lambda Weekly co-host Patti Fink, announced yesterday that she is running for Dallas City Council District 9 in East Dallas. The seat is being vacated by Mark Clayton after two terms.
