Per Equality Texas, here’s a list of Transgender Day of Remembrance occurring across the state.
We’ve listed two events already, one in Dallas and the other in Fort Worth.
In Dallas three local black transgender advocacy groups takes place from 6-8 p.m. at the Legacy of Love Monument from 6-8 p.m.
In Fort Worth, the Rev. Steve Sprinkle will lead the community in worship at 7 p.m. at Brite Divinity School in the Robert Carr Chapel on the Texas Christian University campus. The address is 2925 Princeton St. I’m covering that event.
Saturday, Nov. 20
5 p.m. at Tarrant County College North East in the Galley of the NSTU Building, 828 W. Harwood Road, Hurst.
7:30 p.m. in Heritage Square at 3rd St. & Austin Ave, Waco.
6 p.m. in the Denton Courthouse Square, 110 W Hickory St., Denton.
