New co-owners Emanuel Salinas and John Broady

Komali, an Uptown institution since 2011 that serves Mexico City-inspired cuisine designed by chef Abraham Salum, has been purchased by Dallas couple Emanuel Salinas and John Broady. Salinas, a Mexico City native, and Broady have long sought to bring authentic “Ciudad”-style cuisine to an audience, which Komali affords. Salum will remain attached in an advisory capacity. His sister restaurant, Salum, is still next door.
