Apollo is a 2-year-old silver-and-white Siberian husky with bright blue eyes. He and his sister, Aurora, who’s just as beautiful, really love each other and need to be adopted together. These gorgeous dogs are friendly, happy and full of life. They’re spayed and neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and negative for heartworms.

Heidi is a 21⁄2-year-old medium-haired tortoiseshell. She’s calm, quiet and laidback. Heidi is a gentle little lady who’s looking for a loving lap. She’s spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and negative for FeLV and FIV.

Apollo, Aurora, Heidi and lots of other cats, kittens, dogs and puppies are available for adoption from the Dallas Animal Services Adoption Center, located at 1818 N. Westmoreland at I-30, just minutes west of Downtown Dallas. The shelter is open 7 days a week: Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and Sunday from 1 to 3:30 p.m. The cost to adopt is $85 for dogs and $55 for cats and includes spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip and more.
