Arnold Wayne Jones

Dallas Voice Executive Editor Life+Style Arnold Wayne Jones has been elected vice president of the Dallas-Fort Worth Film Critics Association.
Jones has written for Dallas Voice since 2002. Before that he wrote for the Dallas Observer and The Met and was the on-air film critic for Channel 4.
He takes over as vice president of the organization from Boo Allen, film critic for the Denton Record-Chronicle.
The Dallas-Fort Worth Film Critics Association informs members of screenings and other media opportunities. The organization announces annual awards and in December chose Spotlight as best picture of 2015. The critics also present the Russell Smith Award, named in memory of the gay Dallas Morning News Film critic and presented for best cutting-edge indie film.
