Ann Coulter disses gay marriage as paid speaker at gay conservative conference

The gay conservatives are already putting out press releases suggesting that this was their plan all along: to pay someone tens of thousands of dollars to come insult them and denigrate their human and civil rights.

Kind of like what they do every election.  (Kind of like what we’ve been doing of late as well.)

Ann Coulter Confronted By a Porn Star: Michael Lucas Edition

It's probably not too often that Ann Coulter engages in debate with men who fuck other men on camera for a living, but that was the scene at the home of Peter Thiel, whose walls might see that sort of activity a little more frequently than Coulter. But in the crowd was Michael Lucas, who threw some cash at GOProud's Homocon event to be listed as a sponsor, probably so he could ask her a question on videotape. Which he did!

Ann Coulter: Marriage “Is Not A Civil Right – You’re Not Black”

Politico reports on Ann Coulter's appearance at Homocon in New York City last night. The event was put on by the conservative gay group GOProud, whom writer Ben Smith apty describes as "the tea party of the gay rights movement."

Ann-Coulter So what did Coulter have to say? Well, this:

Marriage “is not a civil right – you’re not black,” Coulter said to nervous laughter. She went on to note that gays are among the wealthiest demographic groups in the country.

“Blacks must be looking at the gays saying, ‘Why can’t we be oppressed like that?’”

Adds Politico: "Coulter’s talk drew a mixed response, but her presence marked the increasingly mainstream Republican embrace of gay rights. Coulter had a falling out with a conservative website that has published her, WorldNetDaily, over her attendance. 'She’s doing something important – she’s showing her base that it’s OK,' said one attendee, Michael Lucas. (Lucas also confided to a reporter, 'I wonder what Ann will think about the fact that I am the biggest producer of gay porn on the east coast and probably in the whole US.')"

Never one to turn down an offer to speak, Coulter also spoke to CBS News last week about Sarah Palin's influence: "(For Palin) to give up what she has now and run for president would be like Rush [Limbaugh] giving it up and running for president. She has more influence than a president does."

Ann Coulter At Homocon 2010 : Marriage Is Not A Civil Right, You’re Not BLACK

At GOProud’s Homocon 2010 event in NYC last night, headliner Ann Coulter told the assembled Quislings that they had no civil right to marriage. Because, after all, they’re not BLACK. Ben Smith reports at Politico:

Coulter’s presence at the event was controversial, as other gay activists pointed out that she’d made a series of anti-gay remark — she called former presidential candidate John Edwards a “faggot” — which she explained away at the top of her speech as humor. “The people who get gay jokes are gays,” she said, adding that when she talks to Christian audience, “Out of sweetness they don’t laugh at the gay jokes.” Coulter’s jokes Tuesday riffed on the theme that GOProud doesn’t make same-sex marriage central to its appeal; it considers, Barron says, national security and the economy more important. Marriage “is not a civil right – you’re not black,” Coulter said to nervous laughter. She went on to note that gays are among the wealthiest demographic groups in the country. “Blacks must be looking at the gays saying, ‘Why can’t we be oppressed like that?’”

Politico also reports that homocon lesbian radio host Tammy Bruce compared GOProud to ACT-UP, saying the two groups “have the same energy.”

Already Working With Bigot Ann Coulter, GOProud Adds Islamophobe Michael Lucas

How does GOProud improve on the free publicity it's getting by signing Ann Coulter to headline Sept. 25's Homocon event in New York City? By adding everybody's favorite Islamophobe Michael Lucas as a sponsor.

Ann Coulter Calls WorldNet Daily ‘Fake Christians’ Seeking Publicity

Coulter

The war between Ann Coulter and WorldNet Daily founder Joseph Farah over Coulter's attendance at gay conservative group GOProud's Homocon party continues, on FOX's Red Eye.

American Family Association: Ann Coulter Is The Godess Of Gayness

“Ann Coulter is the headliner at “Homocon 2010,” a Sept. 25 gathering of so-called gay “conservatives.” And Glenn Beck has folded his hand and cashed in his chips on the issue of gay marriage. Even Rush Limbaugh, who supports counterfeit same-sex marriages in the form of civil unions, won’t go that far.

“Let’s be clear: Endorsing homosexual behavior is not a conservative position, period. Supporting special rights based on aberrant sexual behavior is not conservative, period. Supporting either civil unions or marriages based entirely on using the alimentary canal for sexual purposes is not conservative, period. Even Darwinian evolutionists know better than to believe there is something healthy about homosexual conduct. They know it cannot lead to the propagation of the species, which, after all, is what evolution is supposed to be all about.

“Coulter justifies her Benedict Arnold impersonation by saying she speaks all the time in hostile environments, such as Harvard. OK, Ann, how exactly is this a hostile environment? You’re being welcomed as a heroine, as the Joan of Arc of homosexuality, literally the poster child for ‘Homocon 2010.’ You are the goddess of gayness for the moment. You are taking money from people who want to destroy the U.S. military and destroy the institution of marriage. Good luck getting us to believe that’s a good thing. ” – American Family Association radio host Bryan Fischer.

And the lunatic fringe continues to eat its own. Delicious, delicious.

Ann Coulter Calls WorldNet Daily Founder Joseph Farah ‘Swine’ and ‘Publicity Whore’ After He Dumps Her Over Gay Event

Yesterday, I posted that conservative WorldNet Daily founder Joseph Farah had dumped Ann Coulter as keynote speaker at its "Taking America Back National Conference" because Coulter had agreed to speak at gay Republican group GOProud's 'Homocon' event in September.

Coulter Now Coulter is swinging back.

Capitol Hill Blue reports:

"The homophobic Farah blasted Coulter, saying 'there is simply no room (at his conference) for compromisers or for people who accept money from those determined to destroy the moral fabric required for self-governance and liberty.'
Coulter fired back at Farah, calling him a 'publicity whore' and a 'swine' for publishing an email exchange between the two.
Farah, Coulter said in Tweets and emails, 'could give less than two shits about the conservative movement as demonstrated by his promotion of the birther nonsense. He’s the only allegedly serious conservative pushing the birther thing and for one reason — to get hits on his web site.' … Coulter added that she isn’t losing any money over Farah’s decision to drop her from his conference because he couldn’t afford to pay her anyway."

Ann Coulter To World Net Daily Founder Joseph Farah: Oh, It’s ON Motherfucker!

“Farah is doing this for PUBLICITY and publicity alone. This was an email exchange between friends and even though I didn’t expressly say “OFF THE RECORD” and I believe everything I said, he’s a swine for using my private emails politely answering him. Why would he do such a despicable thing? … for PUBLICITY.

“I will say that Farah could give less than two shits about the conservative movement — as demonstrated by his promotion of the birther nonsense (long ago disproved by my newspaper, Human Events, also Sweetness & Light, American Spectator and National Review etc, etc etc). He’s the only allegedly serious conservative pushing the birther thing. For ONE reason: to get hits on his website.” – Ann Coulter, in an extremely pissed off email to the Daily Caller.

Yesterday World Net Daily founder Joseph Farah published Coulter’s email to him about being dumped from WND’s Miami conference because she is agreed to headline GOProud’s Quisling confab. This just gets better and better.
