Dallas County HIV testing announced for National Black HIV Awareness Day
Dallas County is offering free HIV testing on Feb. 7 at multiple sites in honor of National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day is a national HIV testing and treatment mobilization effort targeting the black community, which accounts for 44 percent of all new cases of HIV in the U.S. In Dallas County, case rates remain disproportionately higher among African Americans following national trends.
