Homocon Kevin Dujan Renews Claim That Rahm Emanuel Patronizes Bathhouses

Following Rahm Emanuel’s announcement that he is running for mayor of Chicago, homocon Hillbuzz blogger Kevin Dujan is again spreading unsubstantiated rumors that Emanuel was once a patron of a Chicago gay bathhouse. During the 2008 campaign, when Dujan was a fierce Hillary Clinton supporter, he attempted (with no success) to plant the same story about Emanuel and Obama in the mainstream press.

Being a “resident” of a city does not mean owning property there; you are a “resident” if you rent so much as a room in Chicago, and can prove that you have such a room ready and waiting for you whenever you need to put your head down onto a pillow here to catch some ZZZs (among other things). Thus, another residency argument Rahm Emanuel can make is his lifetime membership to Man’s Country, a male bathhouse on Clark Street in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood – where Chicagoans for years have spotted both Obama and Emanuel when the two men lived here.

Man’s Country sells lifetime memberships for . Once a man becomes a member, he is allowed to show up anytime he wants (the place is open 24/7) to rent a room for 8 hours (he can also rent just a locker in case he doesn’t plan on sleeping and instead just wants to “hangout” or “play basketball” the way Obama used to with Kal Penn or Reggie Love until too much attention was drawn to their antics). The rooms have a small cot, a single pillow, a sheet, and sometimes a TV. Man’s Country is made up of a warren of these little rooms, with no ceiling, in what looks like a Halloween haunted house of twists, turns, nooks, and crannies. Watch out for ghosts! Could Emanuel’s Man’s Country membership, coupled with his voter registration, qualify him to run for Mayor of Chicago? We believe it could, because it meets all the requirements as we understand them.

You may recall Dujan’s recent complaint that no gay man will date him because he supports Sarah Palin. Dujan has blogged that he fears “radical gay leftists” are planning his assassination.

Rahm Emanuel to leave WH to run for mayor of Chicago

Does he need help packing his bags? Talk about FAIL. John King of CNN:

Three Democratic sources close to Rahm Emanuel tell CNN that the White House chief of staff informed senior colleagues he is all but certain to run for mayor of Chicago, and will leave the White House to take the final exploratory steps.

Close associates are already building a campaign team according to sources.

An announcement by Emanuel is expected to be scheduled for Friday, sources said.

One of the sources, a prominent Democrat close to the White House chief of staff, told CNN, “We see nothing that will stop a run. But you don’t announce a campaign for mayor of Chicago in Washington, D.C. You leave and go home and finish your business there.”

Can Rahm Emanuel win mayor’s race with serious heckling?

It looks like Rahm is seriously considering a run for Chicago’s mayor. I have news for him. The LGBT community is no friend to those who advise a President to throw us under the bus. I hope he hasn’t miscalculated that the LGBT community will support him. When deciding to run for Chicago’s mayor, he had better realize we know he has been no friend to us, and he’d better be ready to hear catcalls and chants about the failure to follow through on the specific promises to our community to end DADT, DOMA and pass ENDA.

Oh, and Rahm, the gAyTM is “out of service.” You can’t expect the gAyTM to keep working when our civil rights problems aren’t addressed.

Question: Does Candidate Rahm support marriage equality?

Political Wire reports that Rahm Emanuel could be quitting his job “within weeks” to begin his campaign for Mayor of Chicago. He wants out so badly he may leave before the midterm elections — the elections that could be a disaster thanks, in part, to Rahm’s failed strategy.

Chief of Staff Rahm has been one of the leading political homophobes in the White House. He still thinks it’s 1993. You think it’s a coincidence that the White House did almost nothing to fight the GOP filibuster of the Defense bill? It was a concerted strategy.

So, what’s Rahm going to do as a mayoral candidate?

Mayor Richard Daley has been a strong and vocal supporter of marriage equality for years.

Where does candidate Rahm stand on marriage? Maybe one of those way inside pundit types can ask him.

And, I hope the LGBT community in Chicago won’t give Rahm a pass. Hospital visits, which is the one policy for which Rahm claims credit, don’t constitute equality.
